After starting out as a little known company with only a few software developments, Empire Interactive has grown rapidly and is quickly becoming an influential company within the industry. Responsible for publishing many original games such as Typing of the Dead and Sheep, the company is continuing the trend with the release of Kuri Kuri Mix. Unsurprisingly, the game is nearly as bizarre as its title. Forget lettuce, hutches and saw dust, the Day of the Rabbits has arrived. Two rabbits, Chestnut and Cream, in a thumping platform puzzler, must help each other through the taxing worlds that await them. Arguably best played in two player mode, Kuri Kuri Mix makes a welcome return to the old school methods of the gameplay. It's primarily a co operative game in which the players take control of two ambiguous looking rabbits. You will find yourself wandering through ten wacky and puzzling worlds that incorporate numerous gameplay challenges. But it's not all smiles and teamwork, each world contains a multi player option where 4 people can compete in a race to collect moons and stars. By sharing a controller, the aim is to race through a course, robbing your opponents along the way, so get looting! Featuring three modes of play, 40 levels, boss challenges, 8 bonus characters and some gruelling gameplay, Kuri Kuri Mix uses existing gameplay strategies to form something that is truly innovative and original.
